So I put some mesh and mud on a few cracks.. haven't done the first round of sanding anywhere yet.. but this is progressing...
Just a little more drywall, and then we get to the good stuff!

I've got a bit of time while Jo is out shopping, so i'll get working on the last two areas of drywall going up as part of the bathroom project... The big wall section on the way into the kitchen, and the last piece inside the bathroom - the outside wall beside the sink..
I also wanted to do a quick pass at mudding some of the screws, etc.. just a first pass..
Well, I almost got done.. :-)

After yesterdays whirlwind drywalling session, i'll just get a bit done today.. I'm actually running a bit low on drywall, so i'll have to see how I can fit the last two areas..
But i'm getting ahead of myself..
The big project today - get the outside wall framed, insulated, and drywall on top of it..
Finally - it's time for a ceiling!

So..
In goes the frame over the sink..
then the ceiling over the toilet and the wall beside it..
and then the ceiling and wall above the sink.
Phew.. that was a good day!
I want to see lots of drywall up!!

Last weekend Jo managed to get a bunch of pieces of drywall cut while I was finishing up the ducting and the ceiling...
Today, I want to get the ceiling framed, and as much drywall up on the walls as possible.. This project is really into the visible changes stages, and I want to see a visible change!
Walls... more walls!
Sunday January 31st
I'm going to finish up the new return air vent upstairs, and while i'm doing that Jo's going to get some drywall up on the dining room side of the new wall.. We can't drywall the bathroom side until the ceiling is done, and that can't be done until all the ducts are in :-)
First.. We'll put in the downstairs door and move some wires (and the thermostat) out of the way..
And Jo can then drywall away!
She did all that, and this is (all) I managed to do upstairs...
But hey! This is the first functioning air return on the second floor!
